Please, be aware that due to ongoing changes to streamline the passport system, all existing passport designations have been discontinued, and will not be renewed. All passports will be replaced with new ones, to comform to the new system.

To expedite the process and save you valuable time, we have placed the necessary form (s) on the Internet for you to download at your convenience. The forms are in Portable Document Format (PDF) and require the free Adobe Acrobat Reader for successful downloading. You may also fax your form request to the Consular Secretary at 01 45 05 21 22. Be sure to include your full postal address on your request.

PROCESS FOR RENEWING A PASSPORT

The only form needed for passport renewal is Form "A", APPLICATION FOR A UGANDA TRAVEL DOCUMENT. For your convenience, it is available online for easy downloading.

Here is the procedure:

1. Download the form "APPLICATION FOR A UGANDA TRAVEL DOCUMENT".
2. Fill in the the two sides of the form carefully.
3. Obtain 2 (TWO) passport size photographs; regular not digital, colour or
black/white. The photograph must show your full face; no head gear or hats
of any kind. Neatly print/write your full name on the backside of one of the photographs.
4. Enclose all required documents in an envelope. Please include a self-addressed, return pre-paid U.S. Postal Overnight envelope for shipping your document(s) back to you.
